Edited by: Alijah Mercer on 25/06/2011 00:58:00 I think I can sum up most of my complaint really quickly.
Lack of customer "care" and silly unexplained moves which get no "real" explanation.
I can give an example. (http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1513581)
You take out a completely useful feature of eve for industrial, pvp, and missioners alike, and you add in a worthless eye candy garbage store for real money. Then in continuing in the trend of poor response like my example above, you fail to respond to a "leaked" document. Two systems in Eve have been virtually shut down for most players because of this lack of response and customer service.
I realize that leaks are not good within a company but your handling of the leak was disgusting. This game "used" to feel like a community like you claimed you wanted it to. But as of late (the last several months) it is clear there is no more "community." It's CCP on one side, and the customers on the other.
Do yourselves a favor and tell your stock holders that you can do a better service for their investment if they stay the h**l out of day to day operations and allow your customers to be heard. Stop making policy decisions on strictly how much you can "grow" the bottom line.
After you do that, put the loot export back in the darn game.
And if you EVER, and I do mean "EVER" stick options in to buy ANYTHING via real money or any work around leading to real money that will increase a players edge in the game (examples would include but are not limited too enhanced weapons, ships, skill points, implants, etc etc) I will unsub every account I have access to. That would be 7 for me, 3 for my older son and 1 for my younger. In case the math is really sub-par that would be 11 accounts just for this household. the plex system is good and it's as close as you need to come for selling items for cash. This second currency was just stupid.

one of my favorites:
Quote: CCP does not take criticism well and often ignores retrospectives. Criticism is considered to be a negative attitude and is severely frowned upon. A lot of effort goes into maintaining a good morale with a lot of internal PR.
and:
Quote: EVE is not creating enough revenue which means that solutions are sought, solutions that CCP was vehemently against a few years ago.
... no wonder they ****-up the game finally.
Yes. When employees know that they will not be supported by management, and will be punished for disagreeing, they do not speak up, even when they are aware that the decisions being made are bad ones.
This was a good one from there:
Quote: Fun game play is not a priority, promises made to investors and aesthetics are. æIf it looks good then it is goodÆ is an often heard motto. CCP is committed to use technology in EVE as well as WoD and DUST, so certain features are made and used in EVE knowing they will not be fun, nor fit EVE and no one expects them to be appreciated by the playerbase. Alienating the playerbase of EVE further. Objections from employees who point this out are waved away.

Take it or leave it, thats my idea on the topic.
Amazingly elegant idea!
This simply rocks. but you'd need a load when you click it.. it would have to load the CQ No doubt we should be in the dock when we enter a station.. we should have to "choose" to leave the ship.
